After selling his share in an advertising and media firm he founded, he decided to apply his significant sales, marketing and advertising experience to residential real estate. Matt immediately focused on creating a sales group in an industry dominated by solo agents. Since 2003, the Matt Garrison Group has generated almost 500 million dollars in residential sales, almost exclusively in Chicago's hot and emerging neighborhoods. He is frequently quoted in such publications as the Chicago Tribune, Chicago Sun Times, Crain's Chicago Business, the Daily Herald, New Homes and Realtor Magazine. He was named to Realtor Magazine's 2004 30 under 30 list and was ranked by The Wall St. Journal and RealTrends as one of the top 200 agents in the country.
Matt sold more units in 2006 than any Coldwell Banker agent in the world, out of 132,000 agents, and is ranked 8th internationally in sales volume.
Matt has an extensive background in acquiring, developing and marketing residential properties. He has created a team of entrepreneurs and marketing experts who will not settle for the status quo. He has been known to knock on doors to find properties for his clients if nothing on the market works for them. He is also a skilled negotiator, has handled commercial acquisitions up to 70 million dollars, and is currently engaged in the marketing of residential development projects over 500 million dollars in value.

He believes in taking full accountability for the marketing process, from collateral design, staging, public relations and promotion through the sales process.

Matt Duhig - Matt was only 19 when he sold his first real estate in Chicago. Now 23 he has established himself as a player in the Chicago real estate scene. He has worked with everyone from first time apartment renters to some of Chicago’s largest developers. Although Matt has lived in Chicago his whole life, attending St. Ignatius in the Tri Taylor village area for high school, his love for helping renters find properties stems from working directly with both renters and owners while attending Purdue University. The unique combination of his experience and success at such an early age has made him an asset for owners who can consult him with the confidence that he will provide sound advice from a youthful perspective, as well as renters who can identify with him and feel assured in his consultation.
